The Easter bunny came on Saturday, because he was so busy on Easter Sunday.
The Easter Bunny brought Stockton a tricycle! Too bad he can't reach the peddles even though the seat is adjustable! Poor kid got his mom's legs.
Searching for Easter eggs. He had a hard time gathering Easter eggs. He just wanted to take his time and open each one and eat the treat inside before moving on to the next one. I don't blame him!
Saturday afternoon we went out to Grantsville for the Orgill family party. And look who showed up!!!! The EASTER BUNNY! Stockton was so excited. (By the way, it's really my brother Brad in the costume.)
Showing Grandpa Orgill the yummy candy inside the Easter egg.
Finding eggs with Brock.
Oh, here's a good one!
That night we colored eggs at the Haiders,. Stockton and Anellina hadn't seen each other for months and had a blast together.
Easter Sunday started out with church. What handsome men!
Then we headed to the Haiders' for another Easter egg hunt. It was not very warm outside so we did the hunt in the basement.
Giving all the eggs to Grandma as they found them.
The Easter Bunny left a message on the eggs, you could read it when you lined them up. It gave a clue to where their Easter baskets were hidden.
They found their Easter baskets upstairs in the front room! Then there was another clue in their baskets leading them to another surprise.
They found it in the dryer!
Yay! New spring outfits!
This was Stockton's favorite toy in the Easter basket. It's a little bunny and carrot fan. I told him to keep it away from his eyes... so what does he do? Luckily the fins are a soft foam.
Stockton loved being with Baby Carsten. They are about the same size! Sheesh!
The day ended with Stockton showing Anna his new hele-ca-ca teeter totter that he got for his birthday. Then Anna and her family headed back to Colorado. It was a sad parting for the kids. The next day Stockton said to me, "Want Baby Carsten, Anna, Ama (grandma) over here." He was missing them already.
Such a fun weekend with family! I am so grateful for all my blessings, especially the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I'm grateful that he suffered and died for me, but more importantly that he LIVES for me!
