Graduation Surpise

I'm sorry I've been such a slacker on blogging. It's been a little crazy lately. But, here's the latest....
Brady finished school at UVU in December. But, he never walked. His diploma came in the mail a couple of weeks ago, so his mom and I decided to plan a little surprise.

On Memorial Day Brady was out helping his dad in the yard. We set up in the basement of the house. His dad sent him in to get something and we were there to surprise him. We had his diploma all framed, gifts, and a cake. He loved it! He said it was way better than having to go down and wait in line forever to walk across the stage to get his diploma.

Afterwards he cleaned up and we went out for a fun dinner. It was so much fun.

As for other news. Stockton is getting huge! These pictures were from last Sunday. He had the cutest little outfit on, with darling shoes.

Stockton and I were not feeling well this week. But, ever since he got over his sickness he has been the best baby ever. He hardly ever cries and he's been sleeping better. He's just a joy! I can't believe he is going to be 2 months old on Friday!!! It's so crazy.
Also I went back to work this week. I'm only working part time and mostly from home, but it's still hard! It's very hard to find time to get everything done. But, I know it will get better... let's hope.

The Week's Happenings

Stockton has just been growing a ton! Last Wednesday I had to take him to the Dr because he was throwing up a lot (he's better now) and he weighed 9 lbs. even! I know he's gained since then, too.

We stayed at the Haider's on Friday because we are house-sitting while they are in Florida. This is a pic of Brady loving up on Stockton at his parents' house.

I tried to take advantage of the daylight at their house to get some good pics, since we live in a dungeon.

Look - BLUE EYES, just like his daddy!!!

Sunday we took Stockton to church for the first time. He was a good little boy! It was so fun to be there together as a family.

Later in the afternoon we went down to Rebecca's in Spingville, we enjoyed the weather out on her porch and I snapped this cute pic of my mom with Stock.

Stockton in his bumbo!!! They say they can sit in them once they can hold their head up- well he's mastered that! He liked the chair for a few minutes while Mommy washed dishes, then got bored.

My 1st Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day! Stockton gave me a cute homemade card and a darling Willow Tree figurine of a mom with a new baby. I love it!

We went to the Haider's for lunch. Stockton was asleep in his car seat. I looked over and Aunt Holly had put his sunglasses on him. My mom had given him the sunglasses and I had forgotten I had left them in his carseat.

Stockton started fussing and Uncle Jordan quickly calmed him down.

Then Grandpa Haider had a turn with Stockton. I love this picture. I love how Stockton is looking up at him.
Then we went out to Grantsville, Stockton's furthest trip from home yet. I love Stockton's face in this picture, he looks like a little old man.

Dallin just loves Stockton, he calls him "Stock-ston." Stockton's shirt says "Just bananas over Mommy."
The whole day was very special for me now that I am a Mother. I appreciate my Mom so much more and now I realize just how much she loves me and all that she does for me.

Tub Time!

We gave Stockton his first real bath yesterday. First of all we tried to do his hand print in plaster with one of those cute kits... yeah... that was interesting. We tried so hard while Stockton was asleep, but it is nearly impossible!!! When we were done all three of us were covered in plaster and we had two ruined plaster kits. Stockton had plaster all over his hands, face, and hair. So we got him in the tub.

At first he was kinda fussy, until he made his own jacuzzi tub, then he was quite happy.

In fact he got so comfy that he fell fast asleep! It was so cute! And yes of course the rubber duckies were in there with him!

Here are some other random cute pics and a video.
Ready to go for a ride!

Hello everyone!!!
