Traditions

This weekend we had our annual trip to the Manti Pageant and our friend's cabin in Fairview Canyon. Brady and I went on our first date to the Manti Pageant in 2006 and we've gone every year since.

Here we are on our first date on June 23rd, 2006. We were younger, skinnier, and so twitter patted!

And here we are now older, fatter, and still twitter patted! It's amazing to think how much has happened in the last three years, and this time we have a cute baby!

It was very cold and we were bundled up and snuggled under blankies while we watched the pageant. Once Stockton got comfy, he slept through the whole thing under the blankie.

We met up with our friends Pam and Jess and went to the family cabin in Fairview Canyon. Their little girl Adalyse was so cute with Stockton.

The guys had fun shooting guns, fishing, and four-wheeling. I stayed back in the cabin with Stockton for most of the time. But, we went down to the reservoir. Stockton fell asleep on the lawn chair. He had quite the set up in the shade from an umbrella.

While he snoozed, our friends watched Stockton, and Brady and I got to go out on a little paddle boat and fished for a while. It was green and beautiful!

Brady wanted this picture because he says this is always the view he gets of me holding Stock.

First Father's Day

It was a very special day for our family since it was Brady's first Father's Day. Brady is such a wonderful Father and he deserves all the recognition in the world! Thank you Love for being a wonderful daddy to Stockton and such a wonderful husband to me!

Brady's mom got him and Stockton the cutest matching ties and a white collared shirt for Stockton. Look how handsome my boys are!

We went to church with Brady's family so we could spend some time with his Dad. Then after church we headed up to Snowbird where my parents are staying for the week. We had a relaxing and casual lunch and visited with family.

Stockton loved Grandpa Orgill. He was just grinning from ear to ear.

Doin' what BIG BOYS do

Stockton is growing up so fast! I took him in for his 2 month check up and he had grown so much! He weighs 11 lbs. 13 oz. Which is the 54% and he is almost 22 inches long which is 14%. So he is living up to his name: Stocky.

But, lately he has been wanting to do what big boys do. Here are a few examples:

Dancing...

Holly is a Radio Disney dancer and they dance and play games with kids at different venues. We went to see her at the Living Aquarium in Sandy. Stockton and I danced together doing the Cha Cha Slide and the Hokey Pokey. RoShawn, Josh and Anellina were there, too.

Hiking...
He went on a fun little hike and took Stockton in the carrier. He LOVED it. He was looking all around and he didn't make a peep.

Watching TV...

We were holding Stockton and he kept cranking his head so he could see the TV. So we turned it to a cartoon, Aladin, and set him up in his bumbo. He loved it for a while, then got sick of it.

Chillin' on the couch...

I was holding Stockton then I had to run and grab cookies out of the oven. So I propped him like this on the couch and he was loved sitting up like a big boy.

Our little BLESSING from Heaven

Yesterday was Stockton's blessing day. I was really nervous about the whole thing and prepared for the worst, but honestly the whole day was PERFECT! First of all, Stockton slept for 8 hours straight the night before! He was just a perfect little angel. He slept through the blessing and through the whole sacrament meeting. We blessed him in the Haider's ward in South Jordan and then had a luncheon at their house afterwards. It was a little crowded because everyone had to be inside because it was rainy, but it was so fun.
The blessing was so wonderful, Brady did such an amazing job. It took all my strength just not to bawl my eyes out. After the blessing I looked up and saw Brady look down at Stockton and he was so happy and so proud of his son. It was the sweetest thing. I love the two men in my life. I'm so happy with my little family and so excited that we will be together forever.
We just love our little Stockman!

I've always wanted a clone....

... well now I've got one!

All you people that say Stockton looks just like his dad... what do you think now?
