Happy 10th Birthday Alex!

I can't believe my little nephew Alex is 10 years old! I was at the hospital when he was born 10 years ago. (I wasn't in the delivery room, but I heard his first cry from across the hall!) Ever since then, he's been the cutest, awesomest kid ever! Alex has always been such a sweetheart and such a stud at the same time.
Happy Birthday 10th Birthday Alex! I love you tons!

The New Me!

Here's the old me

Here's the new me!

I was getting very sick of my long hair but was really only keeping it long because it was easy and I thought Brady liked it. Then one day Brady suggested that I get a hair cut. I was all about it. The truth is I went and got it cut last week, but I hated it so bad, I looked like I was in 4th grade. So I went back in and got it recut at a better place - Salon Donte in Sandy. I had it layered and now I have an A-line. When I told the girl what I wanted she said, "You came to the right girl, my nickname is, "A-line." and she did an amazing job! Now I LOVE IT! It's been so long since I've had short hair and it feels great!

Families are Forever

This Sunday we celebrated my mom's birthday (her birthday is actually on the 1st). She wanted a family photo, but not just an quick photo, but nice photos, where we all match and such. But, this made me so nervous, because with so many kids (and brothers that act like kids) it's really hard to get my family to sit still for that long. But, they did amazing! Everyone looked great and they were all very patient! My brother, Dustin, took the pictures and he did a great job. So here's my awesome family!

Please don't make fun of Brady's white socks. I told him to wear them, because he doesn't have any socks that match his new pants. I told him that his socks wouldn't show in the picture... well... I lied.

Youth Conference

This weekend I went to Snow College with the youth of our ward. Again, it was so wierd to be a leader. I had so much fun just being one of the kids! We played fun water games, had a fireside, and a dance. The girls made a bet on how many guys would ask me to dance, thinking that I was a youth. They told me I couldn't turn a guy down if he asked me, because that would crush him. When I asked what I should say if the guy asks where I go to school I was instructed to say, "I just graduated." Then if they asked me for my phone number I was supposed to say, "1-800-IM-A-LEADER" It was so funny! But, no guys asked me to dance, so they lost their bet! But, I fast danced all night with the girls. And now I'm soooo sore! Here's some fun photos
.
We played game where we had to pass the cups of water over our heads. Just after that one game, everyone was soaked!
We loved the infatable waterslide, even all the leaders went down!

We had this race where everyone held poles and one person had to walk across them, then the people with the poles in the back, ran to the front keep it moving forward. Yes that's me up on the poles. And yes that's me on the slip'n slide. We've got such a great group of girls! They are so much fun and I love them to death!
While I was gone Brady went fishing with his dad and his brother. They had an awesome time and caught tons of fish! Brady caught the biggest one, this "hook jaw" German Brown.
