Talented Friends

So I've got some very talented friends that are great photographers. When Stockton was 5 days old we took him to get pictures from a friend from high school, Mindy (Sutton) Black. She did an amazing job! I'm in awe of how adorable the pictures turned out. Her website is http://www.mindyblackphotography.com/

Then my cousin Sharon is also a photographer. She came over yesterday and we had a little photo shoot. Stockton was being funny, but she still got some great photos! Her website is http://www.heartprintphoto.com/

Thanks you two for helping capture these moments of my little angel

Two Weeks

I can't believe my little Stockton is two weeks old! To me he is looking bigger, but everyone keeps saying how tiny he is.

Today we had his two week check up. He gained a whole pound more than his birth weight!!! He now weighs 7 lbs. 7 oz. Usually babies are doing well if they reach their birth weight again. The Dr. was very happy and said that he hasn't seen a baby this healthy in months!

Stockton did a great job. Usually he hates not having clothes on. But, he did surprisingly well. He also peed when the doctor took a peek under the diaper!

But, then Stockton hated getting his little foot pricked for the PKU test. I've never heard him scream like that and it broke my heart! Poor little guy. But, after it was all over he calmed right down.

Also today I wanted to get his little hand prints and food prints in his baby book. So I stripped him down to his daiper, so the ink wouldn't get on his clothes, and I bundled him up and got him to sleep. I did a few practice prints that turned out great! But, then when it came to doing the real prints in his book, every one of them were smudged!!! But, oh well. After it was over Stockton was in deep sleep and was sprawled out and he looked soooo cute!

Baby Bliss

It has been wonderful having little Stockton here. He is a dream! Enjoy some more photos and videos. I'm sure this blog will be bombarded with pics of this little guy. He's just too cute!

What a little angel, all bundled up in the hospital.

Getting dressed and ready to go home!

The Haider Family is ready to go home.

Look how tiny!!!

He was a dream on the way home and didn't make a peep.

Cute little outfit (preemie size) from Grandma Orgill. It fits him great except for the arms. Stockton has got LONG arms.

Brady hates those binkis from the hospital, Stockton didn't like them either. But, as soon as we got home one of the first things we did was give him a little one and he loves it! Except he loves having his hands up by his face so he pulls it out.

Five generations.

Grandma Haider and her two grandkids. Anellina and Stockton.

The Easter Bunny even left Stockton an Easter basket! With binkis, a spring outfit, candy and beef jerky... I'm sure Stockton will love that beef jerky! (Or maybe his daddy will have to help him eat it.)

Stockton has the cutest little mannerisms. He's yawns sooooo big. It's darling.

My two sweet boys after a LONG first night at home. Stockton is looking more and more like his mommy each day. Look at how dark his complexion is compared to daddy's.

Stockton Brady Haider

April 10, 2009 12:04 pm
6 lbs. 7 oz. 19 inches

My contractions started to be pretty regular around 4 pm on Thursday afternoon. I got very little sleep that night and by 3 am decided that it was time to go. We got to the hospital at 3:45 and Stockton was born at 12:04 pm. He is just perfect! He is absolutely adorable and is such a good baby. He doesn't cry much and is eating well, too. I think he looks just like Brady. But, now today I think he's looking more like his mommy. He's got his daddy's mouth for sure and his daddy's hair that pokes up in the back. But, he has his mommy's nose and possibly his mommy's eyes. But, this kid had the biggest feet and biggest hands! In the last picture you can kinda see his hand in comparison to his face. He's got LONG fingers. His limbs are pretty long too. So maybe he has a glimer of hope of being tall! Who knows how we managed that!?

But, we are soooo happy and so excited that everything went well. He is just perfect and we love him to death. He is by far the cutest baby I've ever seen (of course I'm just the mom.) He is definately a keeper! We are just so blessed to have him sent straight from heaven to our little family.

Almost 39 weeks... and counting

I went in for a check up today. NO PROGRESSION!!!! I'm still dilated to a 3. I couldn't believe it, after the week I had. But, he said that he highly doubts I will make it to my due date, which is a week from Thursday. But, he said if I do go over he will induce me the next day if I want to. So at least I know he's coming on or before April 17th!

Be sure to post your guesses below for the baby's stats!

Your Best guess

An update for everyone- NO BABY YET! I thought for sure he was coming on April 1st. I was having contractions and feeling really ready. But, I think it was Baby Stockton's cruel April Fool's joke. Because now I'm feeling great. But, I want to know everyone's guesses on the baby's stats. Who ever guesses the closest on the most amount of stats wins.... recognition and the pride of being a great guesser!

So please guess the following:
-Date
-Time
-Weight
-Height
-Hair (color, length, etc)
You might want to add some other details of your own... like will Rachel make it to the hospital on time or have the baby in the car like her mom? Will Brady be okay during the birth, or will he pass out like his dad did?
