Are we the same species?

I know most of you have seen this before. But, I'll post it here just for kicks. This is Mark Eaton, former Utah Jazz player, and he's 7'4". He was a speaker at a marketing workshop I went to. I hate to admit it, but the main reason I wanted to attend the workshop was to get this picture. Enjoy!

1st Haircut

Stockton is 9 months old today. I thought it was a good day to give him his first haircut. It was getting pretty shaggy, especially in the back and around the ears. We turned on his show and Daddy distracted Stockton with toys, while I cut. He did pretty well! And we are pleased with the finished product.
Before: poking up... always.

"Mommy, get out of the way, so I can watch my show!"

All wet down and ready to begin.
Daddy distracting me with toys.

Mommy, the barber.

The finish product... the slicked look.

The finish product... the tasselled look. I am one handsome little dude... and yes I have a rubber ducky in my mouth.

Giving Thanks

We spent Thanksgiving with Brady's family and had a wonderful time. Of course the food was amazing!
Brady carved the turkey.

Stockton was excited for the feast to begin. For Stockton's first Thanksgiving feast he enjoyed some turkey and sweet potatoes baby food. Well, he didn't enjoy the turkey very much, but loved the sweet potatoes.
Love the festive bib from Grandma Haider.

Stockton loved playing with Poppa.

I have so much to be thankful for. But most of all I'm thankful for my wonderful husband and my little darling baby. You are my happiness! Love you boys so much!

Basket Case

So... Stockton was playing nicely with some toys. But all of a sudden I heard a helpless little whimper, I look over and this is what I find....

Somehow he had flipped the laundry basket (with a bunch of socks)over his head! He was so frustrated because he was trapped! But, I couldn't help but laugh and take a few pictures of the incident. (Notice the LONG tongue sticking out.)

I love how he's still trying to get the remote even though he's got laundry basket over his head.

Halloween Baby

I love Halloween! I love having an excuse to dress silly and making people laugh. But, now it's even funner with a little one to dress up, too!

Stockton and I showed up at my office to show off our costumes. I was a deer and Stockton was a hunter. Pretty classic.

Then we made our way over to Daddy's office and showed off his real costume. Winnie the Pooh! I'm sorry but I've never seen a cuter Pooh Bear.

Notice the candy in Stockton's hand. People would put the bowl of candy in front of him so he could pick out one, but he was smarter than that, he would try to take the whole bowl! But, he had at least one peice of candy in his hands at all times to chomp on the wrapper!

We hardly had any Trick-or-Treaters, but we did leave for a while to go visit our friends Eli and Max. Max was Optimus Prime.
We ended the night with our annual Halloween tradition: watching a scary movie. Now last year we watched one that freaked me out so bad that I was jumpy for a week. So I didn't want to get too scared this year. So we watched a really cheesy, low-budget Canadian version of Sleepy Hollow. It was so dumb, but somehow I still managed to get scared during the night.
